Online Atelier
Join Urban Roots’ Online Atelier, a series of 2–3 interactive online sessions designed to reflect on and build upon the exploratory activities in Madrid, while preparing students for the final field school in Istanbul.
The atelier brings students together in a collaborative digital space to synthesize field experiences, share insights, and develop collective understandings of urban agriculture and circularity. Through guided teamwork, participants connect observations from Madrid with broader academic and policy perspectives.
As part of the atelier, students take part in a circularity mapping exercise, working in teams to map food flows, waste cycles, social actors, ecological exchanges, and shared resources identified during the Learning Expedition. This process helps translate place-based experiences into systems-level thinking. Stay tuned for registiration details!
